...and again

Yes..that is a black snake coming out of a blue vagina and it only took 6 years to complete! Super stoked on the flufiness of the hen but I think the little chick steals the show, and something about this sunflower just makes sense..I dont know why

Hello again

All this stuff and the next post are from the last couple of months or so, I kinda forgot that I had a blog for a minute. The hyena is a cover up,and the sleeve is just straight up northern Cali fauna, the reaper was really hard to draw that crazy angle for the girl, it really hurt my brain, and the robot was intended to be nature taking over technology,in contrast to the technology killing man tat next to it that I didn't do,so I put a swirl over it.

The Matriarch

I have not painted in about 6 months and it was really making me nuts. I finally got some inspiration to pull something out of my ass for the Garage Ink show...obviously been looking at Frazetta and that by no means, means that I came even close to it being as cool as the man, but it was really fun to sketch as I was going and I think it came out pretty cool.

Dinosaur bird

A few from this summer, Seems like I have a ton of larger stuff that is slowly coming together, the werewolf still needs some background but I just had to put it in here. The image I used for reference for the dead bird actually had fingers at the top of the wings, I though at the time that this was neat, like a missing link to some dinosaur gene,so I put it in the drawing, but later a client who is a farmer told me that that is not the case and that the dead birdie was probably a mutant that the parents pushed out...kinda even better than intended. Pretty stoked on how the octopus frames the bottom of that chestpiece,I will probably use that trick again, and a bear that worked for the Polish army in WW2, pretty cool imagery fo sho'

Sheer Terror!

When I heard Paul was gonna put out a Sheer Terror 7", I immediately hit him up to let me do some art for it, Sheer Terror was and still is my favorite NYHC band, and I fully cherish the memories of the days Paul lived in Kansas City, which was my home at the time. I recently went and saw them play up in S.F.... moshed my ass off, drank too much, got heckled by Paul, saw a couple of fights...another perfect show, thanks Paulie!
Get yourself a copy of this 7" with 3 new songs,a poster drawn by me, and all the spite that the Reverend Paul Bearer could fit into a 7"x7" package! WWW.DEADCITYNY.COM

All In

How could I not be stoked on an alien eating a spaceship!! While doing this jester I couldn't help but wonder if this is my style of traditional tattoo, fat shapes and a lot more black in there than apparent, I feel the same about the gypsy, the formula is the same just the drawing is more refined.

So glad you found me

Some pics from the last couple three weeks. It was kind of a crazy start this year with tons of new projects and too much drawing time outside of work but finally getting to bring a few to fruition. The chest piece took a bit,but dude was coming from Afghanistan to get tattooed, and Zombie traveled from Arizona, really fun tattoos, pretty glad they came to me.

la luz de este mes

Some stuff that I got good photos of from recent weeks,I just got a rotary from Special Technique, and just kinda using it on everything to figure out what all the hoopla is about...Pretty fun to use but not feeling like it changes my game much.Regardless I do like his machine design so if you are into them things try one out. Also did a t-shirt design for my new band, again in reverse and I'm gonna run it to my guy tomorrow to get some made....rock on!

Iv been getting away with some unconventional layouts lately, although they may not make the whole image visible from one angle ,I think It gives the tattoo more movement
